1. Introduction
At Malekstar, our mission is to redefine how people connect, share, and manage information in the digital world. To back our commitment to innovation and quality, we offer this Warranty Policy, which outlines your rights and our responsibilities if any of our products fail to meet expected performance standards.
This document explains the scope of coverage, warranty duration, claim procedures, limitations, and remedies available to customers. Please read it carefully, as it forms an integral part of your purchase agreement with Malekstar.
We aim to balance customer satisfaction with clear protections for Malekstar, ensuring transparency, fairness, and global compliance.
2. Definitions
For purposes of this Warranty Policy:
“Product” means any Malekstar Varybooks Card, Tapio.space Card, or Malekstar Business Card purchased directly from Malekstar or an authorized reseller.
“Customer” or “You” means the individual or entity purchasing or using the Product.
“Defect” means a fault in materials, workmanship, or functionality that prevents normal operation under intended use.
“Warranty Period” means the duration of coverage defined in Section 4.
“Authorized Reseller” means a distributor, retailer, or partner recognized by Malekstar.
“Proof of Purchase” means an official receipt, invoice, or digital order confirmation.
3. Scope of Warranty
This Warranty covers manufacturing defects and functional issues arising under normal use conditions. Coverage includes but is not limited to:
Defective NFC chips or failure to transmit properly.
Internal memory errors, corrupted sectors, or data handling malfunctions (for Tapio.space and Varybooks).
Connectivity issues with supported protocols (Wi-Fi, NFC, USB-C, depending on product).
Hardware defects such as faulty soldering, cracked circuitry, or power delivery failures.
Cosmetic damage only if received upon delivery (scratches, dents, or misprints).
This Warranty does not cover:
Accidental damage, misuse, or neglect.
Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
Normal wear and tear (scratches, fading logos, or discoloration).
Data loss caused by user error, viruses, or third-party interference.
Issues caused by incompatible devices, unsupported operating systems, or external factors (magnetic interference, extreme heat, water submersion).
4. Warranty Periods
Different products have different coverage durations:
Malekstar Business Cards
Warranty: 12 months from date of purchase.
Coverage: NFC functionality, printing durability, chip integrity.
Varybooks Card
Warranty: 24 months from date of purchase.
Coverage: NFC chip, card durability, software compatibility, power management.
Tapio.space Card
Warranty: 36 months from date of purchase.
Coverage: NFC chip, embedded storage (SSD or memory module), Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module, rechargeable battery performance (minimum 80% capacity retention for 2 years).
Extended Warranty Options: Customers may purchase an additional coverage plan (“Malekstar warranty program”), extending coverage up to 5 years depending on product.
5. Customer Rights
During the Warranty Period, if a Product is deemed defective under covered conditions, Malekstar will, at its sole discretion:
Repair the Product using new or refurbished parts.
Replace the Product with an equivalent model of equal or greater value.
Refund the original purchase price, minus shipping and handling, if repair or replacement is not feasible.
Malekstar’s liability will not exceed the purchase price of the Product.
6. Warranty Exclusions
This Warranty becomes void under the following circumstances:
Tampering with serial numbers, holograms, or NFC chip identifiers.
Use with unauthorized accessories or modifications (e.g., third-party firmware, hacked apps).
Storage in extreme conditions beyond product specifications (heat > 60°C, cold < –10°C, water immersion, high humidity).
Use for unlawful or prohibited purposes.
Physical breakage, bending, or deliberate damage.
7. Proof of Purchase
To make a claim, you must provide:
The original receipt or digital invoice.
Product serial number or NFC identifier.
A clear description of the defect.
Malekstar reserves the right to deny claims without sufficient proof of purchase.
8. Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim:

Customer Support will issue a Return Authorization (RA) Number if your claim is valid.
Ship the Product (at your expense) to the designated Malekstar Service Center.
Malekstar will repair, replace, or refund within 30 business days after receiving the Product.
9. Replacement Policy
First 90 Days: Immediate replacement if defect confirmed.
91 Days – End of Warranty Period: Repair or replacement at Malekstar’s discretion.
Replacement Products: Covered by the remaining original Warranty Period or 6 months, whichever is longer.
10. Battery Coverage (for Tapio.space & Varybooks)
Rechargeable batteries are covered for 24 months.
Must retain at least 80% of original capacity under normal use.
Warranty excludes damage caused by overcharging, third-party chargers, or neglect.
11. Software & Cloud Services
Tapio.space Cloud integrations are provided “as is” with uptime guarantees under the Service Agreement.
Warranty covers compatibility with supported devices at time of purchase but not future OS updates outside Malekstar’s control.
Data stored on devices is the sole responsibility of the user. Malekstar is not liable for loss, corruption, or unauthorized access.
12. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Malekstar is not responsible for indirect damages, such as lost profits, data loss, or business interruptions.
Warranty remedies (repair, replacement, refund) are the sole and exclusive remedies available.
Malekstar’s liability is capped at the purchase price of the Product.
13. International Coverage
Malekstar offers global warranty coverage, subject to shipping costs and import/export restrictions in the customer’s country.
Customers outside Malekstar’s regional hubs may experience longer turnaround times.
14. Transferability
Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser, unless otherwise stated in promotional programs.
16. Extended Care Program (Malekstar warranty program)
Customers may purchase extended coverage:
Business Cards: Extend to 3 years.
Varybooks: Extend to 5 years.
Tapio.space: Extend to 5 years with premium support, free replacement shipping, and discounted upgrades.
17. Student Discounts & Special Terms
Verified students receive extended coverage on discounted products.
Warranty terms remain identical, but refund requests must follow proof of student status.
18. Warranty on Accessories
USB-C Cables: 12 months.
Charging docks/wireless chargers: 18 months.
Carry cases and packaging: Not covered beyond arrival defects.
